Gasoline and oil prices are adjusted down

HNN.VN - From 3 p.m. today (October 23), petroleum businesses have simultaneously adjusted the retail prices of petroleum products down, following the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance. Thus, domestic gasoline prices have turned to decrease after increasing last week.

Gasoline and oil prices are adjusted down from 3:00 p.m. on October 23.

Specifically, compared to the previous adjustment period, the price of RON 95 gasoline level 3 (the popular type on the market) today was adjusted down by 177 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 19,726 VND/liter. Similarly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 176 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 19,050 VND/liter.

The price of 0.05S diesel oil is adjusted down by 538 VND/liter compared to the current base price, the selling price is not higher than 17,885 VND/liter. Meanwhile, the price of kerosene is not higher than 18,115 VND/liter, down 291 VND/liter compared to the current base price. The price of fuel oil is not higher than 14,098 VND/kg, down 273 VND/kg compared to the current base price.

Similar to previous operating periods, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continues not to use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund in today's operating period.

Last week, the National Assembly Standing Committee passed a resolution on environmental protection tax rates. Accordingly, until the end of next year, the environmental protection tax on gasoline (except ethanol) will remain at VND2,000/liter; diesel, fuel oil, and lubricants at VND1,000/liter. Grease is VND1,000/kg, kerosene is VND600/liter. These rates will be similar in 2025.
