Business golf tournament raised 285 million VND

The Saigon Business Magazine Golf Tournament - Luong Van Can Cup ended with a total of 285 million VND raised through auctions and contributions from businessmen.

285 million VND was donated from the "Nurturing Business Talent" golf tournament.

On October 4, at Royal Long An course (Duc Hue, Long An), the Saigon Business Magazine Golf Tournament - Luong Van Can Cup with the theme "Nurturing business talents" took place enthusiastically, gathering nearly 160 golfers who are businessmen, department and industry leaders and representatives of business associations across the country.

This is an annual sports event organized by Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine, aiming to create a playground to connect the business community, and at the same time raise funds to support the young generation through the Luong Van Can Talent Award Fund.

Speaking at the ceremony, Journalist Tran Hoang - Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine, Head of the tournament organizing committee, shared: "Golf is a sport that promotes self-awareness and honesty, which are also the qualities that Mr. Luong Van Can once taught businessmen: Integrity, Trust, Diligence, and Thrift. On the golf course, businessmen not only compete to win, but also practice their bravery, personality and integrity."

The highlight of the program was the Business Exchange and fundraising auction, which attracted enthusiastic participation from the business community. Together with 155 million VND in additional donations from businesses and individuals, the total amount collected from the program reached 285 million VND.

All of this money will be put into the Luong Van Can Talent Fund, serving skills training activities, developing entrepreneurial thinking and awarding scholarships to economics and business students with difficult circumstances but strong will to succeed.
