Dong Da Ward visits and gives gifts to children in difficult circumstances

HNP - On October 6, on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dong Da Ward coordinated with Son Ha Group and Bao Tin Manh Hai Gold and Gemstone Company to visit, encourage, and give gifts to children in special circumstances in the area.

Party Secretary, Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet and representative of Bao Tin Manh Hai Gold and Gemstone Company presented gifts to Xa Dan Secondary School.

The working delegation led by Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet visited and presented 50 million VND to Dong Da Friendship Children's Home and 30 million VND to Xa Dan Secondary School.

Xa Dan Secondary School is a specialized school, currently receiving and teaching 291 disabled students, mainly hearing impaired, most of whom face many difficulties in life. Dong Da Friendship Children's Home is managing, caring for and raising 46 children in difficult circumstances.

At the destinations, Party Secretary, Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet and the delegation kindly inquired about the living and studying conditions of the students. He expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the staff, employees and teachers who are working in a special environment, requiring patience, love and a great sense of responsibility.

Party Secretary Nguyen Ngoc Viet wished children a happy and warm Mid-Autumn Festival, and encouraged them to strive to overcome difficulties, study well, and obey teachers and staff so that they can become useful citizens to society in the future.

Representatives of Son Ha Group and Bao Tin Manh Hai Gold and Gemstone Company also expressed their honor to accompany Dong Da ward, demonstrating social responsibility and the desire to contribute to taking care of the future generations of the capital.

Touched by this deep concern, Director of Dong Da Friendship Children's Home Dang Viet Bang expressed his emotions and sent his thanks to the ward leaders and accompanying units for bringing great joy to the children during the Mid-Autumn Festival; and said: "This is the motivation for us to continue to try to take good care of and raise the children."
