In this area, the price of live pigs today has not been adjusted and fluctuates between 58,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, traders in Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh , and Binh Thuan are purchasing live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.

On the other hand, traders in Dak Lak are purchasing live pigs at 58,000 VND/kg, which is the lowest price in the region. Traders in Quang Nam are purchasing live pigs at 59,000 VND/kg, the same as in Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa.

The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg.

Southern pig price

Pig prices in the Southern market decreased slightly by VND1,000 in some localities and fluctuated between VND59,000 - VND62,000/kg.

After reducing the price, traders in Ca Mau are purchasing live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, equal to the price in Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh.

In general, the live hog market nationwide is showing signs of slowing down. According to the latest survey, all three regions only recorded a slight decrease in live hog prices in the two southern provinces. Currently, the whole country is trading in the range of 58,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
