Pig price today February 23, 2025: Increased by 3,000 VND/kg

Pig prices today, February 23, 2025, recorded a strong increase in all three regions. In particular, in the Southern region, some localities increased by up to 3,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (February 23, 2025) in the Northern region recorded a slight increase in the two provinces of Phu Tho and Ha Nam, both increasing by VND 1,000/kg and at the same level as Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hanoi and Thai Binh with VND 72,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still maintained at around 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. In contrast, Lao Cai and Nam Dinh are the two localities with the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Pig price today (February 23, 2025) in the Central Highlands region, except for the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An , and Quang Tri, is stable, while most provinces and cities increased from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 71,000 and 75,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lam Dong is the locality with the highest price in the region at 75,000 VND/kg, followed by Dak Lak and Binh Thuan at 74,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Quang Tri and Khanh Hoa sell the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 71,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 23, 2025) recorded a sharp increase in most provinces and cities. In particular, Can Tho increased by 3,000 VND/kg, while Dong Thap, An Giang, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau increased by 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 74,000 and 76,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai, Can Tho, Dong Thap, An Giang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ca Mau all reached 76,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 23, 2025) recorded a sharp increase in the South and the North in most provinces and cities. In general, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 70,000 - 76,000 VND/kg.
