An Cuong Wood (ACG) only completed 18% of the plan, spending 120 billion to pay dividends

An Cuong Wood Joint Stock Company (ACG) announced the payment of the second dividend in 2023 in cash at a rate of 8%. Each shareholder owning 1 share will receive a dividend of 800 VND. The last day to register to receive dividends is June 25, 2024, the expected payment date is July 10, 2024.

Currently, there are 150.8 million ACG shares in circulation on the market, so An Cuong Wood will need to spend 120.6 billion VND to pay the second dividend in 2023.

Regarding ACG's shareholder structure, NC Vietnam Investment Co., Ltd. is holding 50.05% of ACG's charter capital, equivalent to receiving a dividend of about VND60.4 billion. Sumitomo Forestry shareholders holding 19.61% of charter capital will receive VND23.6 billion.

Previously, in December 2023, An Cuong Wood paid a 7% cash dividend. Thus, ACG paid a total dividend of 15% in 2023.

Regarding business activities, in 2024, An Cuong Wood sets a revenue target of VND 3,785 billion and after-tax profit of VND 440 billion. In the first quarter of 2024, the company achieved revenue of VND 695 billion and after-tax profit of VND 81.4 billion. Thus, An Cuong Wood has completed 18% of the 2024 plan.

Recently, the Board of Directors of An Cuong Wood also approved a resolution to join a consortium of contractors represented by Thang Loi Homes JSC to implement the Binh An Duc Hoa Urban Area project. The project has a scale of 13 hectares with a total investment of about 8,800 billion VND.
