Since 2024, MediaTek has identified four key pillars for its technology development and business growth strategy: high-performance computing, advanced AI acceleration technology, next-generation connectivity and wireless networks, and a strong global partner ecosystem. Among them, MediaTek Dimensity has established global leadership in the smartphone SoC segment, holding the No. 1 position in global smartphone chipset market share for 18 consecutive quarters. From 2022 to 2025, the premium Dimensity product line has recorded a remarkable growth of over 350%.

Support the rapid growth of mobile gaming in Southeast Asia with optimized MediaTek HyperEngine technology. MediaTek Frame Rate Converter technology in HyperEngine increases power efficiency by up to 39.8% for open -world role-playing games (RPGs) and 48.2% for turn-based games (ACGs) when using Dimensity 9400+. At the same time, MediaTek continues to lead the industry in mobile ray tracing, delivering stunning lighting and shadow effects that set new standards for realism and immersion, while remaining at the forefront of innovation.

MediaTek continues to lead the 5G revolution with breakthroughs in speed, coverage, and performance. The flagship MediaTek M90 5G chipset realizes this vision with blazing-fast data speeds, AI-based network optimization, and long-lasting battery life. With integrated satellite connectivity for greater coverage – even in remote areas – and MediaTek’s Modem-on-Analyze AI (MMAI) technology, the M90 delivers a seamless and responsive 5G experience for the next generation of devices.

According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Hung, Business Development Director of MediaTek in Vietnam, 5G development in Vietnam is progressing steadily, with a total of 639.6 MHz of spectrum licensed. By 2025, 4G coverage will reach 99.8%, and 5G coverage will reach 26%. Mobile data usage per connection is expected to increase significantly – from 9.6GB/month in 2024 to 34GB/month in 2030. 5G market share is expected to increase more than 47 times between 2024 and 2030.
