Professor Dr. Le Quan appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Training

Mr. Le Quan, born in 1974, is from Quang Ngai (old). He has a high political level, a PhD in management science from Toulon University (France), and was awarded the title of professor in 2017.

Before becoming the Director of Hanoi National University, Mr. Le Quan held many positions such as: Head of Human Resource Management Department (University of Commerce); Director of the Center for International Training and Education (University of Economics , Hanoi National University); Head of the Personnel Organization Committee of Hanoi National University; Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Organization Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Hanoi National University Party Committee; Deputy Director of Hanoi National University; Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province.

From June 2021 to present, Mr. Le Quan has held the position of Chairman of the Board and Director of Hanoi National University.

It is known that during more than 4 years of running Hanoi National University, Mr. Le Quan has directed and solved many related issues: restructuring the apparatus, streamlining the focal points and establishing new units such as the University of Law, the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital; initiating cutting-edge technology research institutes...

The new Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan is also a delegate of the 15th National Assembly of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term.

On the same day, Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Chairman of the Council and Director of Hanoi National University.

Thus, up to this point, the Ministry of Education and Training has Minister Nguyen Kim Son and Deputy Ministers including: Pham Ngoc Thuong, Nguyen Van Phuc, Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Le Tan Dung, and Le Quan.
