Yesterday, December 7, the super yacht Celebrity Solstice (belonging to Celebrity Cruises) docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port ( Quang Ninh ) carrying 2,700 European and American tourists.

According to the schedule, the above tourists will visit Ha Long Bay and spend time exploring the cuisine and unique tourist attractions of Quang Ninh, as well as visit Hanoi and Vinh Bao District (Hai Phong). After that, these 2,700 international tourists will board the ship and leave Ha Long International Passenger Port at 7:00 p.m. on December 8.

Representatives of Ha Long International Passenger Port expect the super yacht Celebrity Solstice to continue bringing large groups of guests to Ha Long on December 12 and December 31.

Recently, many international cruise ships have docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port, bringing thousands of visitors to Quang Ninh. This is a positive signal for the local tourism industry in its efforts to revive the tourism industry after the Covid-19 pandemic.

In particular, the international wharf is designed in a modern way, with a 406 m long wharf including 6 anchors; the reception hall is 130 m long, 30 m wide, capable of receiving ships with a load capacity of up to 225,000 GRT, serving 2 ships at the same time. The modern floating wharf system also ensures safety for cruise ships when anchoring overnight.
