On the morning of September 13, Cat Hai Special Zone Police coordinated with Mr. Doan Van Quy (born in 1993, residing in village 13 Cat Ba, Cat Hai Special Zone) to organize the return of property to tourist De Chauvigny De Blot, Blanche (French nationality).

Previously, while passing through village 11 Cat Ba, Mr. Quy picked up a wallet containing a passport in the name of De Chauvigny De Blot, Blanche, along with many personal documents and cash.

Immediately after that, Mr. Quy proactively posted information on social networks to find the person who lost it. Upon receiving the information, Cat Hai Special Zone Police quickly contacted and coordinated with Mr. Quy to verify and find the owner.

Receiving all of their belongings back on the morning of September 13, tourists De Chauvigny De Blot and Blanche expressed their joy and sent their deep thanks to the police force and Mr. Doan Van Quy.

This is the second tourist to have lost property returned since Cat Hai became a special economic zone. Since the beginning of 2025, four tourists at Cat Ba tourist area have received support from authorities to find their lost or forgotten property.

The proactive and responsible actions of the people and functional forces of Cat Hai special economic zone not only create a good impression in the hearts of tourists but also contribute to affirming the tourism brand of the safe and hospitable Pearl Island.
