Hanoi renovates drainage pumping station to prevent flooding in Dong Anh district

Hanoi will renovate Manh Tan pumping station to prevent flooding in Dong Anh district.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen has just signed Decision No. 4228/QD-UBND approving the project to renovate and upgrade the Manh Tan pumping station system, Dong Anh district.

This is a group B project, a level IV agricultural and rural development project (irrigation project) invested by the People's Committee of Dong Anh district. The project has a drainage area of ​​1,920 hectares; the designed drainage flow of the pumping station is 20 m3/s.

The project includes the following items: construction of a new pumping station with a design flow rate of 20m3/s (installation of 4 pumping units, each pump has a flow rate of Q=5m3/s); electrical system; management house; Manh Tan drainage canal system, works on the canal route...

Upon completion, Manh Tan pumping station together with 19/5 pumping station will ensure proactive drainage for about 2,880 hectares of natural land in the Northeast of Dong Anh district, preventing flooding and creating favorable conditions for local socio -economic development.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the investor to be responsible for organizing and managing the project implementation in accordance with the law and the regulations of Hanoi City; using the State budget capital for investment thoroughly and economically, avoiding loss and waste of investment capital.
