Hanoi mobilizes 10 billion VND for the program "Joining hands for the poor" in 2025

The program is scheduled to take place on November 3, awarding money to build 110 Great Solidarity houses, 110 electric motorbikes and many livelihoods to support the poor in Hanoi.

On the morning of October 21, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi held a conference to deploy the plan to organize the program "Joining hands for the poor and social security" in Hanoi in 2025.

As planned, the program "Joining hands for the poor and social security" in Hanoi city in 2025 will take place on November 3 at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace and will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television.

The program will include the following activities: Launching the program "Joining hands for the poor and social security" in Hanoi city in 2025; receiving support for the "For the poor" Fund; awarding plaques to support the construction of Great Unity houses, supporting livelihoods for the poor in Hanoi city; praising outstanding collectives and individuals in poverty reduction and social security work...

It is expected that the program will award 110 electric motorbikes, provide money to build 110 Great Solidarity houses; support breeding cows, sewing machines... with a total resource need to mobilize about 10 billion VND.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Vu Ha suggested continuing to promote the dissemination of this program to agencies, units, businesses and individuals so that all entities can actively respond to the movement for the poor, supplementing resources to help people escape poverty sustainably...

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Pham Anh Tuan said that this year, the program started later than every year, starting a series of activities for the National Great Unity Day and commemorating the founding day of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan requested departments, branches, and units to closely follow the assignment plan, in which the Department of Finance advises the City People's Committee to organize meetings with large and typical enterprises to mobilize support for the fund; the Department of Culture and Sports coordinates to implement the work of decorating the festival, performing arts programs, and promoting propaganda on mass media; the City Police and the Department of Construction arrange forces to ensure security and order...

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Propaganda and Social Work Department (Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city) to be the focal point to coordinate with departments and branches to implement the above contents.
