Congress of the Women's Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command for the 2025-2030 term

On October 21, the Women's Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command held a Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending were: Colonel Nguyen Quoc Hieu, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Vietnam Border Guard; Nguyen Vu Thu Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union; leaders of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command.

Comrade Nguyen Vu Thu Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union, presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

In the 2021-2025 term, promoting the spirit of solidarity and creativity, cadres and members of the Provincial Border Guard Women's Union have strived to overcome difficulties and successfully completed all assigned political tasks. The Union has effectively implemented the Women's work plan associated with the emulation movements "Intelligent and brave Army Women, successfully completing tasks, building happy families, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era". Notably, in the most difficult time, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, women of the Quang Ninh Border Guard were the silent "green-shirt soldiers" on the front line against the epidemic; together with the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard force, successfully carried out the dual task of firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the border and preventing and fighting the epidemic.

Not only are they “good at national affairs and good at housework”, female soldiers in green uniforms also participate in many meaningful activities for people in border and island areas, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of women in border areas. Thereby, they make an important contribution to building a strong people’s border defense posture; mobilizing people to participate in firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the national border.

Performance to welcome the Congress.

Implementing the program, "Accompanying women in the border areas", the Association has advised the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Provincial Women's Union to mobilize resources to support 6 disadvantaged border communes to implement socio-economic development programs and projects; supported 25 household economic development models, 460 sanitation facilities and moved barns out of residential areas; built and repaired 80 safe houses, "Border shelters" for poor women and policy families; presented thousands of gifts with a total mobilization and support budget of billions of VND.

Cadres and members of the Provincial Border Guard Women's Union have always promoted the pioneering, exemplary, and creative spirit in promoting digital application and transformation in the work of the Union and women's movements; responded to the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of border guards"...

Entering the new term, in the flow of the new era, the women of the Border Guard of Quang Ninh continue to promote the tradition of "Heroic - Indomitable - Loyal - Responsible", steadfast in spirit, proactive and creative, continue to build a strong Association, contributing with the officers and soldiers of the entire Border Guard force of Quang Ninh to successfully carry out the task of managing and firmly protecting the territorial sovereignty and national border security of the Northeast region of the Fatherland.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Chieu, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, awarded awards to members with outstanding achievements in performing the tasks of the Association and the emulation movement of women, term 2021-2025.

With the theme "Solidarity - Creativity - Innovation - Development", the Congress discussed and approved the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term with 11 specific targets and 3 key task groups.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee to appoint the Executive Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairman of the Women's Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command for the 2025-2030 term, including 5 comrades; Lieutenant Colonel Dao Thi Phuong Huyen holds the position of Chairman of the Union.

On this occasion, 12 individuals were commended by the Provincial Border Guard Command for their outstanding achievements in performing the tasks of the Association and the emulation movement of women for the 2021-2025 term.
