Leaders of Thuan Hoa commune ( Can Tho city) donated to support people in the North who suffered damage due to storms and floods.
According to Ms. Chau Thi Hong Hoa, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa Commune, by October 21, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune had received over 130 million VND in cash, 100 new sets of clothes, along with many necessities and gifts from officials, civil servants, public employees, businesses, dignitaries, philanthropists and people in the area. The activity aims to promote the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of the nation, calling on all officials, party members, businesses and people in the commune to join hands to share, helping people in the storm-hit area to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
All the money and donations will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City to send to people in the northern provinces heavily affected by natural disasters, where hundreds of thousands of houses were flooded and damaged and tens of thousands of hectares of crops were damaged.
This is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the spirit of "helping each other", arousing the tradition of humanity and community responsibility of the people of Thuan Hoa commune, contributing to spreading noble gestures, towards the beloved North to soon overcome the consequences after storms and floods.
