Quang Tri Customs listens and answers questions for businesses

(HQ Online) - On March 1, 2024, Quang Tri Customs Department organized the 2024 Business Dialogue Conference with the participation of 20 import-export enterprises, warehouse, yard and port businesses in the area.

The dialogue conference was held to support the business community participating in import-export activities through border gates in Quang Tri province to promptly update new legal regulations.

At the same time, support businesses to participate in the process of reform, modernization and digital transformation in the Customs sector, as well as promptly grasp the production and business situation of businesses to facilitate customs procedures and enhance businesses' voluntary compliance with the law.

In recent times, Quang Tri Customs Department has always proactively implemented specific activities such as providing information to the business community on important contents on customs procedures, commodity policies, tax policies, new regulations... in many diverse forms.

In particular, the unit encourages the business community to participate in providing feedback to improve customs laws and policies, participate in monitoring customs law enforcement, cooperate with partners to improve the law enforcement capacity of customs agencies and businesses, and improve the quality of public services in the customs sector.

Speaking at the Conference, Director of Quang Tri Customs Department Tran Manh Cuong emphasized that Quang Tri Customs Department identified that accompanying businesses is a need and responsibility to support businesses to overcome difficulties in the context of many fluctuations in the domestic and foreign economy , thereby contributing to promoting and developing the socio-economic situation of the province; affirming the efforts of the Customs sector in general and Quang Tri Customs Department in particular in administrative reform, creating maximum convenience for people and businesses in import-export and immigration activities.

The Director of Quang Tri Customs Department also hopes that businesses will continue to participate in the reform, modernization and digital transformation process of the Customs sector, with the goal of Customs and Businesses accompanying, cooperating and developing together.

The conference took place in an open atmosphere, businesses discussed difficulties and problems and received satisfactory answers from Quang Tri Customs Department. Contents beyond the authority were recorded by the unit and reported to the General Department of Customs for early solutions.
