Recorded on October 20, the road leading to Hoa Son cemetery - the largest cemetery in Da Nang city - was flooded with mud and rocks, making it difficult for vehicles to move. Looking from above, many areas of the hillside had long cracks, the rocks and soil showed signs of erosion, and the surrounding trees were bare, ready to fall at any time.
It is worth mentioning that the cracks are dozens of meters long, rainwater from the hillside continues to flow down, forming deep ditches, lying close to hundreds of graves, causing many people to worry.
Some residents said that the heavy rain in recent days caused dozens of cubic meters of rock and soil to fall from the hillside, spilling onto the road, causing traffic safety problems. "If the heavy rain continues, the risk of landslides in this area is very high," Ms. Le Thi Lan (resident of Hoa Khanh ward) worried.

Previously, the historic flood in 2022 caused serious landslides in the Hoa Son Cemetery area, burying more than 600 graves. Due to the precarious and dangerous location, Da Nang City authorities had to spend a long time to repair and search for the buried graves.
In recent years, due to the impact of extreme weather, this place continues to have landslides every time there is heavy rain. Many people are worried that the landslides will continue to spread, affecting people's graves.
To respond promptly, the Military Command of Hoa Khanh Ward has conducted a review of all high-risk areas. The Military Command of Hoa Khanh Ward said that the unit has closely monitored the heavy rain that has lasted for many days, and at the same time advised on plans to evacuate people in areas at risk of being affected.
