Vinh Long supports Thai Nguyen province with 1 billion VND to overcome natural disasters

On October 20, a working delegation from Vinh Long province led by comrade Le Van Han, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, went to Thai Nguyen province to share, encourage and support local people to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 11.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and in the spirit of "mutual love", Vinh Long province donated 1 billion VND to help Thai Nguyen overcome the consequences of natural disasters, helping people soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

Also during the working trip, the Vinh Long delegation visited several places heavily affected by the storm to directly visit, encourage and give support to 5 households that suffered major losses in livestock farming, each household receiving 5 million VND.

Comrade Le Van Han expressed, "When I arrived at the scene and witnessed the devastation after the natural disaster, I could fully understand the loss of the people." On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Long province, comrade Le Van Han sent his condolences and sympathies for the loss and damage that Thai Nguyen is suffering after the storm.

As of October 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province has received contributions from more than 1,000 organizations and individuals with a total amount of more than 4.3 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 10 and floods caused by storm No. 11, contributing more encouragement and support to help people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
