Thousands of people lined up from midnight to receive iPhone 17

At exactly 8:00 a.m. this morning, September 19, Apple authorized retail systems (AAR) such as The Gioi Di Dong - TopZone,FPT Shop - F.Studio by FPT, CellphoneS... simultaneously opened sales of iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air.

This is the first time that the Vietnamese market has opened for iPhone sales at the same time as the earliest countries in the world , instead of having to wait at least two weeks like before.

According to records, the atmosphere at the iPhone 17 series sales points in Vietnam has become bustling as hundreds of iFans eagerly await Apple's latest super product.

Especially at the TopZone point of sale on Nguyen Hue walking street (HCMC), where 300 iPhone 17 Pro Max 256 GB were directly released to early arrivals, many customers lined up since the night of September 18 to reserve a spot. The atmosphere was reminiscent of the opening sales in Singapore with the image of buyers wearing numbered bracelets.

Previously, market demand was evident from the first day of pre-orders. In just the first 30 minutes on the evening of September 12, The Gioi Di Dong recorded "an average of 44 people placing deposits per second". ShopDunk also said that more than 9,500 customers successfully placed deposits in just 15 minutes. On Apple's online store, the 256 GB iPhone 17 Pro Max version priced at VND38 million quickly sold out in less than 10 minutes.

A new point in this year's opening sale is that Apple changed the launch time in Vietnam to 8am, instead of 0am as before, in sync with many other major markets.

The iPhone 17 Pro starts at VND35 million, Pro Max from VND38 million, VND3-4 million higher than last year. All versions have a minimum memory of 256 GB and a 120 Hz screen. Notably, Apple introduced a 2 TB version for the 17 Pro Max, priced at VND64 million, becoming the most expensive genuine iPhone model ever in Vietnam.

Despite the high price, iPhone 17 Pro Max was still the most sought-after product on the opening day, affirming the strong attraction of "Apple" in Vietnam.
