Poor patients in Tra Vinh received free eye surgery on the morning of October 8.
In 2023, despite the economic difficulties, sympathizing with the plight of poor people with eye diseases who have been waiting for a long time without the conditions to go to major hospitals for surgery, HB & IE Company Limited - specializing in health care and beauty - decided to allocate a part of the fund to support the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Supporting Poor Patients, helping to provide free eye surgery for 170 poor patients in Duyen Hai town, Tra Vinh province.
HB & IE Company leaders give gifts to patients after eye surgery
Up to now, after 11 years, HB & IE Company has helped 2,970 poor patients with free eye surgery, 24 children with congenital heart disease have been saved, and 200 near-poor households have received health insurance cards for free medical examination and treatment, with a total amount of more than 2.8 billion VND.
