Giving Mid-Autumn gifts to children in special circumstances

On the morning of October 6, in Ha Long ward, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with philanthropists to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival gift giving ceremony for children in special circumstances.

The Provincial Red Cross, on behalf of the Food Bank sponsor, presented gift boxes to the Provincial Center for the Protection and Care of Children in Special Circumstances to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival for the children being cared for and raised there.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Red Cross and Food Bank Vietnam (Food Bank) presented 30 boxes of goods, totaling 13.5 million VND to the Provincial Children's Care and Support Facility (20 boxes) and Hai Ha Social Work Center (10 boxes). These practical gifts have contributed to encouraging, boosting the spirit and bringing joy to the Mid-Autumn Festival for the children being cared for and raised at the units.

Vice President of the Provincial Red Cross Society Dao Thi Hai Yen presented the sponsor's Mid-Autumn Festival gift box to Hai Ha Social Work Center (Ha Long ward).

This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the core role and bridge in humanitarian work of the Provincial Red Cross Society, while spreading the spirit of mutual love in the community. Through mobilizing social resources, the Society has connected kind-hearted people to join hands to care for disadvantaged children, helping them celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in a warm and happy atmosphere, nurturing their childhood dreams.

It is known that on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with agencies, units and philanthropists to organize gift giving to children in difficult circumstances across the province with a total support budget of about 180 million VND.
