Support Bac Ninh people to escape from floods

From the afternoon and night of October 6 to the morning of October 7, 2025, heavy rains occurred over a large area in Bac Ninh province. Many areas were flooded, traffic was disrupted, and people's lives were seriously affected. In some communes such as Son Dong, Duong Huu, Deo Gia, floodwaters rose, causing many villages and hamlets to be isolated, posing a potential risk of landslides and endangering people.

On the morning of October 7, Mr. Vu Duc Tho's family in Suoi Doc hamlet (Dong Ky commune) consisting of 5 people, including an elderly mother and 2 small children, was one of the very lucky families to be promptly rescued by the Bac Ninh provincial police force from the rising floodwaters. It is known that Mr. Vu Duc Tho's family lives next to a stream, so when there was heavy rain, the floodwaters rushed to his house, which was quickly flooded and isolated, in a very dangerous situation, at risk of being swept away by the floodwaters.

In that dangerous situation, thanks to the Dong Ky Commune Police, Bac Ninh Province promptly mobilized dozens of soldiers and vehicles to rescue Tho's family safely from the floodwaters. Faced with the complicated weather, Bac Ninh Provincial Police proactively deployed forces and vehicles, on duty 24/7 at key points. On the night of October 6, hundreds of officers and soldiers were mobilized to organize warnings, guide people to move to safe places; coordinate with local authorities to evacuate, relocate and protect property for households in deeply flooded areas.
