Hoa Binh speeds up to put Mo Muong cultural heritage on the world map

Mr. Bui Duc Hinh emphasized that in the coming time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh needs to continue implementing the Project "Preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of the Muong ethnic group and Hoa Binh culture in the period 2023 - 2030".

At the same time, the Department needs to coordinate with relevant sectors to ensure necessary resources for important tasks in preserving the province's cultural heritage.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province actively advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue programs, projects and plans to promote the political tasks of the industry.

The tourism promotion and advertising activities have been closely linked with the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values. As a result, the province's tourism industry has made significant progress, attracting more than 3 million tourists in the first 8 months of the year, contributing positively to the economic restructuring and increasing budget revenue.

However, according to Ms. Quach Thi Kieu, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh, the allocation of resources for the cultural sector is still limited. The management of relics in the province faces many difficulties, especially in the restoration, renovation and embellishment of relics, when the regulations on investment and state management have not been properly implemented.

The continuous efforts in preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of Hoa Binh province, especially Mo Muong, promise to not only protect a precious cultural heritage but also create momentum for tourism economic development, making Hoa Binh a bright spot on the cultural and tourism map of Vietnam.
