Miss Giang My and Ngoc Chau serve as judges in beauty contest for students

The first season of Miss Peace Student Vietnam has just announced its panel of judges.

This contest aims to create a playground for female students to connect, exchange, learn and improve themselves.

At the same time, honoring humanity, patriotism and promoting Vietnamese culture and heritage through meaningful and humane activities helps generations of students always be proud and grateful for history and national heroes who died to protect Vietnam's peace.

The organizers of the contest said that all contestants must have a student card and be between 18 and 25 years old. This is also the difference compared to other beauty contests. The female students must not only be beautiful but also have intelligence, good morals, good academic results, good English and always have a spirit of patriotism, ready to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the homeland.

Miss Hung Temple Giang My took on the role of Head of the jury. Miss Ngoc Chau was also trusted to take on the role of a member of the jury to help find a beauty worthy of the noble title.

Sharing about the criteria for selecting contestants, Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 revealed: “As a member of the jury, I want to contribute my efforts and share my experiences with the contestants.

I will work with the Organizing Committee to find a girl who possesses all the elements, representing the young generation of students full of passion, enthusiasm, dedication to the development of the country, bringing positive values to the community."

Ngoc Chau revealed the criteria for choosing the winner.

Miss Giang My also has high hopes for the quality of this year’s contestants. “As a judge with more than ten years of experience judging competitions internationally and in Vietnam, I see this as a contest with a lot of dedication. I hope that Vietnamese students will also be soldiers to spread the love for their homeland.

You are the buds, and I hope that those buds will grow so that we will have future leaders, many future leaders in the fragrant flower garden of Vietnam. That is my dream in the century when women can do things that were previously only for men,” she said.

Ms. Truong Thi Thu Trang - Head of the Organizing Committee - also said that the contest will develop into an international scale, with the English name Miss Grand University, to distribute copyrights to different countries, attracting international contestants to participate. Accordingly, the winning beauty will have the opportunity to participate in this international contest.

Through the contest, the Organizing Committee also selected outstanding faces to represent the “Student Charity Fund”. This is a fund with the mission of helping poor students overcome difficulties, not letting poverty and difficulties hinder the dreams of success of generations of Vietnamese students.

Miss Peace Student Vietnam season 1 is organized under the license signed by the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province on July 26, 2023. The contest is organized by TPA Entertainment Company.

The winning contestant will receive a crown, certificate, prizes and cash worth up to VND2 billion. The first and second runners-up will also receive a crown, certificate and prizes worth VND1 billion and VND500 million respectively for each title.

The beauties who won the secondary prizes also received a cash prize of 50 million VND and a certificate of title from the Organizing Committee.

According to the share, Miss Peace Student Vietnam will have a new format including 7 reality TV episodes. The semi-finals will take place on April 15, 2024 to select 35 contestants for the finals. The final night is expected to take place on April 26, 2024 in Vung Tau.
