Bulgarian Government Scholarships open for applications until mid-March

(Dan Tri) - The Bulgarian government grants 5 undergraduate and master's scholarships to Vietnamese citizens in 2025.

The Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just announced the enrollment of Bulgarian government scholarships in 2025.

Accordingly, this country offers Vietnamese citizens 5 scholarships for undergraduate or master's training, 5 doctoral scholarships, 2 scholarships for postgraduate internship or scientific research (3-9 months) and 2 language internship scholarships (6 months - 1 year).

Candidates are eligible to apply for the courses currently offered at public higher education institutions in Bulgaria.

The scholarship only allows each candidate to register for 1 major and is not allowed to change major or training institution after being admitted.

The Bulgarian government offers free tuition for international students, health insurance, dormitory accommodation and first aid for new students.

The Vietnamese Government provides one-way and one-way air tickets, passport and visa fees, travel expenses and living allowances according to current regulations.

Candidates for undergraduate, master's and doctoral scholarships who do not know Bulgarian will be arranged to take preparatory language courses before entering their major.

Candidates for university scholarships are first-year full-time students; 12th grade students who have won medals in international Olympic competitions or third prize or higher in national excellent student competitions, national Science and Technology competitions.

In addition, candidates need to have high school academic results up to the end of semester I of the 2024-2025 school year of 7.0 or higher, and have university admission results in 2025 when completing school admission procedures.

Candidates for the master's scholarship are cadres, civil servants, public employees, and full-time lecturers under 35 years old (as of June 30), graduated from university with good grades or higher; university graduates from January 1, 2024 to June 30 with excellent academic results in Bulgaria or good grades in Vietnam and other countries, with a commitment to return to work in Vietnam after completing the course as required by the State.

The Department of International Cooperation will accept applications until March 15.
