People's Police Academy recruits 530 students

In 2024, the People's Police Academy will recruit 530 students from Thua Thien - Hue and beyond, the same as last year.

The enrollment quota of the People's Police Academy is divided by location and gender. The school recruits 477 males and 53 females, in the Police Profession group, specifically as follows:

In which, region 1 is 10 northern mountainous provinces, including: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai , Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.

Region 2 includes the provinces and cities of the Northern Delta and midlands (15 provinces and cities), including: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh , Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.

The group of 6 North Central provinces is classified into region 3: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue.

Northern Region 8 consists of conscripts stationed from Thua Thien Hue province and beyond of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

If the enrollment quota in the enrollment area (according to each exam combination) is not met, the school will transfer the quota to consider candidates from the remaining enrollment areas in the Northern region, from high to low.

In addition, the People's Police Academy also recruits 100 students (90 male, 10 female) for the second degree program, Police Operations group, from Thua Thien - Hue area and beyond.

The specific admission method will be announced by the school later. Last year, the People's Police Academy recruited students using three methods, including: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, regulations of the Ministry of Public Security; Admission based on international language certificates combined with graduation exam scores; Admission based on graduation exam scores combined with the Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment test scores.

The Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment exam includes both multiple-choice and essay tests. The multiple-choice test, in addition to the subject content, also tests logical thinking, judgment skills, and situation handling, in conjunction with the specific training requirements of the police industry. The essay test tests knowledge of two subjects: Math and Literature.

Last year, the benchmark score based on the combination of high school graduation exam scores and capacity assessment of the People's Police Academy ranged from 16.15 to 24.78, the highest for female candidates in admission region 3.
