Hoi An shares experience in preserving and promoting heritage values ​​with Hanoi City

(QNO) - On March 21, a delegation of the Hanoi People's Committee led by Ms. Vu Thu Ha - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee had a working trip to exchange experiences on preserving and promoting heritage values ​​in Hoi An City.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Chairman of Hoi An City People's Committee and representatives of relevant units.

At the meeting, Hoi An City discussed and shared contents related to the management, conservation and promotion of the value of the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town; the research and restoration of architectural works of Hoi An Ancient Town carried out by the city in recent years.

The focus is on zoning for protection, advising on the promulgation and implementation of regulations on heritage site management; restoration of relics and granting construction and repair permits in the old quarter; ticket sales; promoting tangible and intangible cultural values, building products to serve tourists visiting heritage sites...

The leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee highly appreciated Hoi An's experience and activities in preserving and promoting the value of the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town. On this occasion, the delegation also surveyed the old town to better understand the management and conservation of heritage in Hoi An.
