At 8pm on March 5, a leader of Hoi An City said they were waiting for information about the Bill Gates delegation visiting Hoi An. However, all information about the delegation's schedule has not been released to the public.

"We have only received information through the press. This afternoon, the provincial leaders contacted and asked Hoi An City to be informed. If the delegation visits Hoi An ancient town as reported in the press, the city will make a welcome banner and have appropriate reception rituals to show hospitality," said the leader of Hoi An City.

Many locals and tourists have heard from the press about Bill Gates’s group visiting the old town. However, despite waiting since afternoon, the billionaire’s group has not yet appeared.
