Hoi An trains in management and use of trademarks and services

The training was attended by more than 70 trainees from the Women's Union, the Farmers' Association of Hoi An City, the Hoi An Market Management Board; the People's Committees and Farmers' Associations of communes and wards; owners and members using collective trademarks and certification trademarks; and production and business establishments in the city.

Students were introduced by the representative of the Department of Intellectual Property ( Ministry of Science and Technology ) about an overview of intellectual property and the management and use of collective trademarks and certification trademarks. The Economic Department of Hoi An City informed about the current status of management and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the city in recent times.

From 2021 to present, the Economic Department of Hoi An City has advised and guided 15 production establishments to register common trademarks. Since 2006, the unit has been building 12 trademarks for the city's typical products, including 1 certified trademark and 11 collective trademarks.
