Bustling construction of Beltway 4 project - Capital Region during Tet

TPO - The Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that to ensure the progress of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region project, contractors have mobilized maximum human and material resources to construct throughout the 2024 Lunar New Year.

Specifically, on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Truong Son Construction Corporation and the contractor consortium mobilized hundreds of engineers and workers at the construction site of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region project; planned and worked through the Tet holiday to ensure progress requirements.

Truong Son Construction Corporation and the joint venture contractor are in charge of the construction of package No. 8, 13km long. During Tet, the unit has arranged for staff and workers to take a break before Tet, then change shifts to ensure that all shifts at the construction site have construction forces. On the 5th day of Tet, 100% of the unit's staff will return to the construction site.

In Hoai Duc district, the construction teams of Vinaconex Corporation are also simultaneously implementing all items of roadbed sand filling, weak soil treatment, bridge and culvert works and a series of other auxiliary works. The construction work in 3 shifts and 4 teams is not only carried out in the days before Tet but has been implemented for a long time. The unit has also mobilized over 140 pieces of equipment and machinery with nearly 200 officers, engineers, workers and employees and taken advantage of favorable weather conditions to construct...

Speaking to reporters, a representative of the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that in the coming time, the Board will continue to coordinate with districts to receive land and focus on speeding up the construction progress of packages under Component Project 2.1 (parallel road).

Up to now, 32 construction teams have been organized along the entire route, including 23 road construction teams and 9 bridge construction teams. The total contract value of the 4 packages under Component Project 2.1 is about 4,691 billion VND. The construction output to date is estimated at about 586 billion VND (equivalent to 12.5% ​​of the contract value).

Regarding the supply of materials for project construction, the Board's leaders said that, up to now, contractors have gathered and constructed more than 0.9 million m3/2.874 million m3 of sand; 0.07 million m3/0.402 million m3 of earth. The exploitation of materials is carried out according to the special mechanism in Resolution No. 56/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly and Resolution No. 106/NQ-CP of the Government, which has been initially resolved, basically meeting the material demand according to the project's construction progress.

For Component Project 1.1 (clearance of residential and agricultural land), the investor and localities are focusing on moving the 110KV - 500KV high voltage power line.

Regarding the progress of construction of resettlement areas serving the Ring Road 4 project - Capital Region, according to the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, up to now, 12/13 areas are under construction. Of which, Me Linh district has deployed 3/3 areas, expected to be completed in March 2024; Dan Phuong district has deployed 2/2 areas (Hong Ha commune resettlement area has been completed, Ha Mo commune resettlement area is expected to be completed in February 2024).

In Hoai Duc district, 2/2 areas are being implemented, expected to be completed in March 2024. Thanh Oai district is implementing 1/2 area, expected to be completed in March 2024. Thuong Tin district has basically completed 4/4 areas, in which a lottery has been organized for 137 households eligible for resettlement.

Component project 3 (expressway construction investment under the public-private partnership method), the Project Management Board is selecting investors and carrying out investment procedures for the sub-project using State budget capital (striving to start construction at the end of the second quarter or early third quarter of 2024).
