The 1st Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2020

BTO-On the afternoon of February 24, the Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, term 2020-2025 held its first meeting. Comrade Phan Van Dang - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were comrade: Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

The Party Committee of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province was established under Decision No. 2162 dated February 11, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and officially took effect from February 14, 2025. At the time of establishment, the Party Committee consisted of 39 grassroots Party organizations with 4,135 Party members. The functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee are implemented according to the regulations of the Central Party Secretariat. Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has 4 advisory and assisting agencies including: Organizing Committee; Inspection Committee; Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Party Committee Office.

At the first Conference, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee gave opinions and agreed on the following contents: Draft Working Program of the Standing Committee and Party Committee in 2025; Notice of assignment of tasks to the Standing Committee, Standing Committee members, Party Executive Committee members, term 2020 - 2025; Draft Decisions on receiving grassroots Party organizations; establishment of grassroots Party cells of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee and grassroots Party cells and committees in newly established departments and branches; Draft Working Regulations of the Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 and Draft Working Regulations of the Party Committee Inspection Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

Concluding the conference, comrade Phan Van Dang - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee acknowledged the thoughtful and serious preparation of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee for the content of the 1st Conference. Emphasizing the scale and importance of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, comrade Phan Van Dang requested comrades in the Party Committee to promote their spirit and responsibility to successfully complete the assigned tasks. In particular, it is necessary to focus on completing grassroots party organizations soon, especially paying attention to grassroots party organizations after the merger; on that basis, lead and direct units to effectively deploy work. At the same time, successfully organize and direct the Congress of branches and party committees under the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also noted that in the process of implementing the working regulations of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, there will be information and exchanges to adjust the regulations in accordance with the practical situation.

Immediately after the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee's departments and offices to absorb, supplement and complete the draft to implement the tasks according to regulations.
