During the working trip of the Hanoi Journalists Association delegation to work with the border guards in mountainous and island areas, the delegation of journalists from the Hanoi Journalists Association coordinated with the Hanoi Moi Newspaper to organize the awarding of "Helping children go to school" scholarships to students with difficult circumstances in the island district of Ly Son, Quang Ngai.

With the support and companionship of the border guards of Ly Son island district, over the years, programs such as "Helping children go to school", "Adopted children of Border Guard Station" ... have been widely deployed, bringing practical results to children of families with difficult circumstances in the border provinces and islands, helping them have the opportunity to study, practice and cultivate morality, nurture their ideals and dreams of studying well, and later be able to contribute to society, their homeland and their country.

It is known that during the visit and work, journalists of the Hanoi Journalists Association also learned and listened to the sharing of advantages and difficulties of each locality, supported policy propaganda, encouraged and motivated people in border and island localities.

Through that, it becomes a bridge of support arms, helping to take care of life, especially giving strength, creating more motivation for students to make more efforts in studying, when they feel encouraged and supported by the surrounding community, from the attention of journalists. Especially, giving strength to the aspirations of teachers, parents and students in the mountainous border areas.
