Drainage pumping stations in Hanoi are operating at full capacity.

To solve the flooding situation, currently, 25 drainage pumping stations, such as: Co Nhue, Dong Bong, Resco, Phan Van Truong, Ha Tri are operating at full capacity. Along with that, workers of drainage enterprises are making efforts to solve the drainage problem, collect trash, open the regulating lakes and operate the pumping stations at maximum capacity to lower the water level in the system.

At many flooded areas, workers are on duty and place warning signs to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. In particular, at flooded areas of 20-30cm, in addition to the above measures, the functional unit also arranges traffic regulators at the scene. When flooding is over 30cm, the road is closed when necessary, barriers and signs are placed; the traffic police force, road and drainage management units and local authorities are mobilized to coordinate on duty and traffic control.
