Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association awarded the 2022 Quang Ninh Press Award to 76 works

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 98-year journey of construction and growth, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has gradually developed strongly, achieved many great achievements, and contributed to the development of the country. In the Mining region, from the first Coal Newspaper for miners published in 1928, to date, the Quang Ninh press has truly demonstrated its position and role in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.

Members and journalists always stick to reality, actively propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; encourage and support cadres, Party members and people in the struggles for national independence and freedom and to implement the renovation policy initiated and led by our Party; actively participate in the work of building a clean and strong Party and political system, fighting against corruption and negativity; refute the distorted views and arguments of hostile forces and disgruntled opportunists, protect the Party's ideological foundation; consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc.

Many journalists have been awarded noble prizes. Especially in recent years, the Provincial Journalists Association has had members winning high prizes such as the National Press Award, the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award and many specialized journalism awards of ministries, branches and provinces...

At the ceremony, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded the Quang Ninh Press Award 2022 to 76 works of all types of journalism by excellent authors and groups of authors. Of which, 11 works won the First Prize; 21 works won the Second Prize; 22 works won the Third Prize and 22 works won the Encouragement Prize. At the same time, awards were given to 5 excellent press works by authors outside the province writing about Quang Ninh.

Also in the celebration program, the Vietnam Journalists Association awarded the "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism" Medal to outstanding members of the Provincial Journalists Association; celebrated the longevity of senior members and admitted new members.
