PTSC joins hands to donate to support people affected by storm Bualoi

Ho Chi Minh City, October 9, 2025 – In the context that the whole country is looking towards the localities affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi), Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) has organized a donation program to join hands to share the difficulties with people in areas that suffered heavy damage, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives soon. Storm Bualoi, which made landfall at the end of September, caused heavy losses in the Northern and Central provinces. Strong winds and prolonged rains damaged tens of thousands of houses, many traffic routes, schools and infrastructure works were eroded and deeply flooded. Tens of thousands of hectares of crops and aquaculture were swept away, disrupting the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of households. When the water receded, many places were still in ruins, but the spirit of "turning towards the people" was spreading strongly across the country, including the PTSC family.

Overview of the fundraising event

Responding to the call of the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group, the PTSC Corporation Trade Union, the Corporation's Agency Trade Union and all PTSC officers and employees actively participated in the fundraising activity to support people in the storm-hit areas, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and affection, a fine tradition that has been preserved and spread throughout the development of PTSC. The fundraising event at the Corporation's headquarters was fully attended by leaders, political and social organizations and a large number of officers and employees. In a simple but warm atmosphere, each contribution, no matter how big or small, contained a heart of sharing, towards people in the storm-hit areas with the desire to contribute a small part to help them overcome the difficult period and firmly rebuild their lives.

At the fundraising event, the representative of PTSC, Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - Chairman of the Board of Directors shared: “I hope that this activity will bring practical contributions, joining hands with people to overcome difficulties after natural disasters. Every sharing, no matter how small, has great meaning for places that are suffering heavy damage. The most important thing is that we show our sense of responsibility, our unanimity in responding to policies of all levels and the kindness of each person because that is how we spread the spirit of mutual love, love and sharing with those who are less fortunate. I believe that when we open our hearts to love and help those in difficulty, we ourselves also feel warmer and more confident in life. As a matter of course, kindness and compassion always have room to spread.”

This is the second donation that PTSC has called for this year, following the program to support people affected by storm No. 3 in August 2025. This activity is also part of the chain of social responsibilities that PTSC has maintained for many years, from supporting the recovery of natural disasters, building charity houses, granting scholarships, organizing humanitarian blood donations, community health programs to many other meaningful initiatives, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and responsibility for the community. Post-storm relief and recovery not only requires material resources but also requires close coordination between businesses, authorities and social organizations so that help reaches the right people, promptly and effectively. The contributions of PTSC officers and employees not only share the immediate difficulties but also add to the trust and commitment of long-term companionship between businesses and the community on the journey of post-storm recovery.
