Regarding scale, the Department of Construction will maintain the scale of the bridge according to the current state of the bridge, remove the damaged concrete to reduce the strength, then spray high-strength concrete to compensate for the concrete affected by the fire for spans N1 and N2 of the Ramp CV1C branch and pillars T2 CV1C, T3CV1C. For span N1, after spraying concrete, prestress the cable of span N1.
The repair design plan for the upper structure, span N1, Ramp CV1C branch (from abutment M1CV1C-T2CV1C) will chisel and remove the concrete part affected by the fire; drill and plant reinforcement, add D14 steel mesh to connect with the existing reinforcement; spray 45MPa strength concrete mortar with an average thickness of 120mm; and finish the surface after spraying.

Vinh Tuy Bridge is also prestressed at the bottom of girder N1 to increase the bearing capacity of the girder, adding 2 cable anchors at each end, adding 2 cross beams with drilled reinforcements connected to the girder bottom; prestressed cables are used to strengthen the bottom of girder N1 with 8 prestressed cable bundles.
N2 span of Ramp CV1C branch (calculated from pillar T2CV1C-T3CV1C), will chisel and remove the concrete part affected by the fire with an average depth of 60mm from the existing beam surface; drill and plant reinforcement, add D10 steel mesh to connect with the existing reinforcement; spray 45MPa strength concrete mortar with an average thickness of 60mm; finish the surface after spraying.
For the lower structure, the T2 column of Ramp CV1C branch will chisel and remove the concrete part affected by the fire with a depth calculated from the existing column body surface of an average thickness of 60mm; drill and plant reinforcement, add D10 steel mesh to connect with the existing reinforcement; spray 35MPa strength concrete mortar with an average thickness of 60mm; finish the surface after spraying.
T3 pillar, Ramp CV1 branch, chisel and remove the concrete part affected by the fire on one main side of the pillar on the N2 span with a depth calculated from the existing pillar body surface of an average thickness of 60mm; spray 35MPa strength concrete to restore an average thickness of 60mm; finish the surface after spraying.
The Department of Construction also calculated that the repair will last from October to December 2025, with a repair cost of more than VND 2.6 billion from the Hanoi city budget.
