This morning, August 27, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) organized a blood donation festival to save lives "Giving blood", on the occasion of Vu Lan season of filial piety in 2023.

More than 200 monks, nuns, Buddhist followers and a large number of youth, students and pupils in the area participated in the blood donation.

This is the second blood donation festival in 2023, attracting a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhist followers and young people from near and far to participate, creating a beautiful traditional Buddhist feature of the community on spiritual and cultural days towards a life of kindness and humanity.

Many young people in the area participate in the blood donation festival to save lives.

Also on this day, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and many other pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City organized gift giving activities for the poor, policy beneficiaries, and the disabled. Many monks, nuns, Buddhists, and people actively responded to this meaningful activity.
