TPO - After many days of training and joint training at units and the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi), on the evening of April 3, thousands of soldiers from the parade and marching groups of the Vietnam People's Army left Hanoi station on two trains to move to the South to join forces with other units to continue joint training in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

According to the plan of the Ministry of National Defense, the military and militia forces will be divided into 5 groups marching to the South on 5 trains. Of which, 4 groups will move from Hanoi station by train on April 3 and 4; train number 5 will move from Tam Ky station ( Quang Nam ).

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, encouraged soldiers to move to the South to practice for the parade, marching on the first train on the evening of April 3.

The total number of military officers, soldiers and militia forces in the 5 marching groups is nearly 3,200 people. During the march, the forces participating in the parade will stop at a number of points to interact with local people, demonstrating the solidarity between the army and the people, and at the same time spreading the spirit of patriotism to all parts of the country.

It is expected that the parade and march will take place solemnly within the framework of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, held at 8am on April 30 on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) with more than 13,000 participants. The parade of 35 armed forces will be coordinated by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security , while the parade will be undertaken by Ho Chi Minh City.
