More than 300 people participated in the Ethnic Culture Day...

According to the organization plan of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, "Vietnam Ethnic Culture Day" is an opportunity for ethnic groups to exchange, meet, discuss and join hands to preserve cultural identity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love.

Among the 300 people from 54 ethnic groups participating, there will be more than 100 people from 16 ethnic groups who are active daily at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism. They are village elders, village chiefs, artisans, and ethnic minorities: Tay, Nung (Thai Nguyen); Dao (Hanoi); Mong ( Ha Giang ); Muong (Hoa Binh); Lao, Kho Mu, Thai (Son La); Ta Oi, Co Tu (Thua Thien - Hue); Ba Na, Gia Rai (Gia Lai); Xo Dang (Kon Tum); Raglai (Ninh Thuan); E De (Dak Lak); Khmer (Soc Trang) and more than 100 people from the provinces of Soc Trang, Thanh Hoa, and Dak Lak.

Within the framework of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Day, there will be a conference to honor village elders, village chiefs, artisans, and prestigious people with many achievements and contributions to the activities of preserving, maintaining, and promoting traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups in the locality (April 18); a ceremony to report achievements, visit President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, and meet with Party and State leaders (April 19).

In particular, the Festival also has performance programs introducing heritage and culture of localities including: Soc Trang Provincial Cultural Tourism Festival; introducing and performing the art of Don Ca Tai Tu - Representative Cultural Heritage of Humanity; the program "Colors of Dak Lak Plateau" with a reenactment of the groom's procession in the wedding ceremony of the Ede ethnic group in Dak Lak province; space to introduce Ede ethnic music, performing folk songs and dances; space program to demonstrate Central Highlands coffee...

In addition, the Festival also has the program "Colors of Dao culture" including special activities such as: Reenacting the coming-of-age ceremony of the Dao ethnic group in Thanh Hoa province; program introducing Dao ethnic culture through worship paintings and traditional costumes of the Dao ethnic group in Thanh Hoa.
