Regarding traffic, on Nhu Nguyet Street (near Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Hai Chau District), the rising river water caused flooding of a section of the road about 150m long. Large waves caused damage, peeling off sidewalk tiles in many places, falling decorative lamp posts on the river side, and soil and sand overflowing onto the sidewalk and roadway.

The Department of Transport has directed the road management contractor to immediately deploy warning work, ensure traffic, clean up and repair damaged sidewalks.

There are 61 road sign locations on the routes that are tilted or fallen and the authorities are working to fix them.

The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Da Nang requested relevant units to urgently handle fallen trees, clean up the environment, and handle waste after storms and floods.
