Press conference on the 16th session - 11th Provincial People's Council

This afternoon (August 11), the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council held a press conference on the 16th session (special session) - the 11th Provincial People's Council. Authorized by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Huynh Van Hung - Deputy Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting, with the participation of representatives of local press agencies and permanent residents of central newspapers and radio stations in Binh Thuan .

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 16th session on August 17, 2023 at Hall B - Provincial Conference Center. The main contents include: Reviewing the submissions attached to the draft resolution submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and issuance of resolutions on the detailed allocation of the medium-term public investment capital plan for the period 2021 - 2025 from the lottery reserve fund.

Detailed allocation of public investment capital plan for 2023 from provincial budget capital (reserved for later allocation). Approval of adjustment of investment policy for the project to repair and upgrade Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street and Huynh Thuc Khang Street (section from Hoang Ngoc Tourist Area to Lang Chai intersection), Phan Thiet City.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council also considered and issued resolutions on approving the investment policy for the Phan Thiet Airport access road project (phase 2). Approving the investment policy for the Thu Khoa Huan road upgrade project (section from Ton Duc Thang street to Ke bridge), Phan Thiet city. Allocating provincial budget funds to match the 2022 capital plan to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the province. At the same time, approving the investment policy for the project to build new, repair and renovate Phan Chu Trinh High School, Phan Thiet city and approving the investment policy for the road project from the center of Ham Thuan Bac district to National Highway 1, Ham Thuan Bac district.

At the 16th session (special session), the Provincial People's Council will conduct personnel work within its authority.

After listening to information related to the meeting, representatives of press agencies expressed interest in the content of the draft resolutions and were provided with additional information by the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.
