Bach Dang 2 bridge connecting Dong Nai with Binh Duong has been closed and will open to traffic on the occasion of September 2nd holiday.

On the afternoon of July 11, Bach Dang 2 Bridge across Dong Nai River, connecting Tan Uyen City (Binh Duong Province) with Vinh Cuu District (Dong Nai Province) officially closed, expected to be put into operation on the upcoming September 2nd holiday.

Bach Dang 2 Bridge connects Bach Dang Commune (Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province) with Binh Loi Commune (Vinh Cuu District). The project has a total length of more than 2.8 km, of which the bridge is 410 m long, 17 m wide, and built into 4 lanes.

The total investment of the Project is nearly 500 billion VND from the budget of Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces.

Bach Dang 2 Bridge has completed the main bridge and opened to traffic on the occasion of September 2nd holiday.

The project's funding is divided in such a way that each locality contributes 50% of the cost for the main bridge and each locality invests in building the approach road in the area.

The project is invested by the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects of Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces, the construction contractor is the Joint Venture of Cienco 4 Group Joint Stock Company and Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company 492.

Mr. Hoang Nang Tuan, Director of the Joint Venture Management Board, said that the project has reached 85% progress so far. After the contract is signed, the contractor will continue to deploy many construction teams working in 3 shifts to complete the opening of traffic on the occasion of September 2nd.

After completion, Bach Dang 2 Bridge will facilitate people's traffic, helping to connect trade between industrial parks in Tan Uyen City, Bac Tan Uyen District of Binh Duong Province with Bien Hoa City, Vinh Cuu District, Trang Bom District of Dong Nai Province.

Currently, Dong Nai and Binh Duong have agreed to add 4 more locations to build bridges across Dong Nai River and Be River, including: Hieu Liem 2 Bridge, Tan An - Lac An Bridge, Tan Hien - Thuong Tan Bridge and Thanh Hoi 2 Bridge.
