On the morning of September 29, the 1st Congress of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, held a preparatory session, with the participation of 450 officially convened delegates, representing more than 131,000 party members in the entire Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking to thoroughly grasp the content and requirements of the congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai Province Vu Hong Van said that, implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the Central Committee's directives and guidelines on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, today, the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session to complete the necessary preparations, ensuring that the congress officially takes place on September 30 solemnly, seriously and in accordance with regulations.

In the past time, in addition to focusing on leadership and direction in arranging the organizational apparatus, completing the targets and tasks for 2025 and the entire 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Party Executive Committee has focused on leading and organizing successful congresses at 99 Party Committees under the province, ensuring proper procedures, content, and quality, and is one of the units that completed the grassroots congresses earlier than the regulations and requirements of the Central Committee.

During the past term, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Dong Nai have united and made efforts to overcome many difficulties, achieving comprehensive results. The economy maintained an average growth rate of 7.11%/year, the total product in the area reached 682,412 billion VND, and the average GRDP per capita was 152.14 million VND/year.

Transport, urban and industrial infrastructure has been invested synchronously, creating momentum for regional development. Many regional connecting highways have been deployed. In particular, the Long Thanh International Airport project is expected to be basically completed by the end of 2025, the project is expected to become a new aviation symbol thanks to its scale and modern design.

The system of seaports, dry ports, and international border gates continues to promote advantages to develop logistics and attract foreign investment.

The Action Program for the 2025-2030 term sets out important, focused, key and strategic tasks, projects, and works to remove bottlenecks and barriers, and unlock resources to ensure the province's development in the 2026-2030 period.

In particular, Dong Nai will focus on new key areas, including: Southern urban - industrial area associated with Long Thanh International Airport, Phuoc An Port and urban areas of Tran Bien, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach; Northern industrial - urban area associated with Hoa Lu Border Gate Economic Zone, Hoang Dieu Border Gate, urban areas of Binh Phuoc, Dong Xoai, Chon Thanh, Binh Long; Lakeside economic area, Western riverside ecological urban economic area associated with urban areas of Bien Hoa, Tan Trieu, Long Hung, Dai Phuoc; high-tech agricultural area, large-scale, modern livestock - green, ecological tourism in the Northeast associated with Bu Gia Map, Phuoc Long, Bu Dang, Ta Lai, Nam Cat Tien.

By 2030, Dong Nai strives to have a total local product (GRDP at current prices) of over 1.2 million billion VND; average GRDP per capita of over 250 million VND/year.

Industry and construction sectors will increase by 60-64%; agriculture, forestry and fishery will increase by about 5-7%; trade and services will increase by 25-28%; the number of newly established enterprises in the province in the period of 2026 - 2030 will be 36,000.
