10 years ago, I chose to get married and put my artistic career on hold. Now, my life is stable and the invitation came at the right time, so Huyen Baby decided to join. I want to try to see how I will develop in a professional artistic environment.

For Huyen, the time participating in Chi Dep Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves is an extended chapter to continue the youthful dream that she did not choose. Few people get to fulfill their dream twice. Few people get to bring back their youth, so for Huyen, this is truly a rare opportunity to challenge herself and surpass herself.

- Is "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" just a simple walk for you or is it the beginning of a long-term plan?

This is not just a walk in the park with art. I have invested a lot of time, effort, and careful preparation for the program. Therefore, Huyen wants each time she appears on the program to be truly impressive.

For the first performance, Huyen practiced for more than 2 months. While the other girls could catch up quickly, I had to learn almost everything from the beginning. Everything after 10 years is too big a gap.

However, Huyen has no long-term plans for showbiz activities. I see many of the sisters in the show have also prepared everything for their comeback right after the show ends.

But as for Huyen, maybe everyone will only see Huyen perform on the stage of Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023. Or maybe after that, it will be a comeback in the art field. I think doing anything requires investing time.

- How difficult was it for you to return to work after about 10 years of silence?

Huyen also encountered many difficulties. Besides having to arrange time for practicing dancing and singing, I also had to adapt to the current entertainment show environment.

For example, in business, we usually have a specific plan, but this is a reality TV show, there are many unexpected situations, Huyen herself and the crew have to make quick decisions and improvise.

Luckily for Huyen, when working in a group with other beautiful ladies, everyone helped. They all understood that I had stopped for quite a while, so everything was almost like getting used to it again from the beginning.

The 10-year gap between working and not working also made me unable to catch up with the creative process for art, that is the reason why Huyen did not apply for the position of team leader from the beginning. When participating in this program, I need to learn and update more instead of expressing my personal opinion.

- Being absent for so long not only puts you at a disadvantage in terms of performance skills but also in your ability to go far in the program, because the results of "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" are decided by audience votes. Do you feel pressured by that?

The time she was in hiding was too long, so when Huyen returned, the number of audiences who knew her was also small. This was a big disadvantage for her when there were rounds of public performances to receive votes from the studio audience.

But Huyen also thinks positively. Accordingly, I will be a new face on television. That means I don't have to pressure myself to surpass my previous shadow. Therefore, I just be 100% myself on stage, practice hard, and learn from everyone.

It was quite nervous but also fun. Huyen is not a person with many friends, before her circle was also small. However, when participating in the program, getting to meet and interact with all the beautiful and talented sisters, Huyen also found many new friends.

Luckily everything was stable so when the invitation to participate in Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking Waves appeared, I participated fully.

Recently, I chose to take care of my family and develop my business so I left showbiz.

- However, is having a rich life, with a rich husband who pampers you without having to worry about financial burdens the main reason for you to temporarily stop your artistic activities?

Huyen herself is a person who does not like to stand still. I always choose a goal to achieve in life. After getting married, I developed the business that I love such as beauty, cosmetics and fashion .

- My husband set up Huyen Baby's picture along the central street of District 1 (HCMC) to cheer her on. She must have received a lot of support, not only spiritually but also materially, from her husband?

In fact, up until now, no matter what Huyen has chosen, everyone in the family has supported her, from business to attending this show. Before accepting to join the program, Huyen still asked her husband. My husband also supported me to join and supported me in everything around so that I would have more time for the program.
