Tien Lang district summarizes work in 2023 and deploys tasks in 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of January 23, the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Lang district organized the celebration of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; posthumously awarded the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother"; summarized the work in 2023 and deployed tasks in 2024.

Continuing to highlight the heroic revolutionary tradition, on October 30, 2023, the President signed a decision to posthumously award the honorary title of "Heroic Vietnamese Mother " to mother Nguyen Thi Coi, Nam Hung commune, Tien Lang district, whose two sons are martyrs. To date, the whole district has 522 heroic Vietnamese mothers.

The district's socio-cultural and educational fields continue to achieve remarkable results.

Responding strongly to patriotic emulation movements, in 2023, Tien Lang district continued to achieve positive and outstanding results in all fields. The total production value in the district reached 16,080 billion VND, an increase of 12.9% compared to 2022. Average income reached 69.5 million VND/person/year. All aspects of Party building work were implemented synchronously and comprehensively. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee evaluated and classified 42/42 branches and affiliated party committees as having completed their tasks well, of which 8 branches and party committees had excellently completed their tasks. Tien Lang district effectively implemented the action theme "Strengthening land management - Building a new model rural area - Implementing digital transformation". The district's socio-cultural and educational fields continued to achieve remarkable results. Political security and social order and safety were maintained.

The City People's Committee awarded excellent emulation flags to 4 units.

On this occasion, the City People's Committee awarded excellent emulation flags to 4 units including the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee , Department of Finance and Planning, Center for Land Fund Development, People and cadres of Hung Thang commune; 16 units achieved the title of Excellent Labor Collective . The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee commended and rewarded 8 district party cells for excellently completing their tasks. Many collectives, individuals and households with achievements in 2023 received Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from the city and district.
