Since the middle of last year, Israel has made a series of arrests of people accused of spying for Iran. Israel has not disclosed what information Mr. Eliasfov gave to Iran.
In fact, Israel’s security depends on its famous “Iron Dome” multi-layered air defense system, which has intercepted numerous attacks by Israel’s regional rivals over the past year of conflict. Iran also launched a series of missiles at Israel in April and October last year.

The conflict in the Middle East has temporarily calmed down after Israel and Hamas signed a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. In the latest development, Hamas leader Naim Qassem said on January 27 that the group does not accept the Israeli army's argument for a slow withdrawal from southern Lebanon, according to Reuters.
