VHO - On September 20, in Tran Thuong commune (Ninh Binh), a conference was held to deploy the traditional festival of Tran Thuong temple and commemorate the 725th anniversary of the death of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan in 2025. The organizing committee informed about the preparations and introduced the special art night "Echoes of Tran Thuong - Thousand years of history" - the highlight of the festival.

Every year, Tran Thuong Temple festival is solemnly held, attracting a large number of tourists.

Bringing together many famous artists

The special art night Echoes of Tran Thuong – A Thousand Years of History is part of the Tran Thuong Temple Festival, organized by the head of the Tran Thuong Temple, folk artist Pham Hai Hung in collaboration withSHB Vietnam Event Organization Joint Stock Company.

The script and general direction are handled by playwright, master Le The Song.

The program is staged as an epic dance drama, combining song, dance, music and new compositions, interwoven with many contemporary song, dance and music performances associated with the history of Tran Thuong land and the image of Saint Tran. The grand scenes are written specifically based on historical documents of Tran Thuong temple.

The program consists of 2 parts. Part 1 is called Land of thousands of souls - Four ancient rivers , aiming to Reenacting historical legends such as Lady Mieu, Hung Dao Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, Princess Dai Hoang, Princess Quyen Thanh, Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong...

The head of Tran Thuong Temple, Pham Hai Hung, will participate in a short performance in the form of a dramatization, performing a ceremony to pay homage to Saint Tran.

In particular, the dance drama by Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung playing the role of Tran Quoc Tuan was carefully prepared. Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung said that to fully transform into the image of the national hero, he had many elaborate costumes made at high cost.

Part 2, titled Tran Thuong Echoes – Thousand Years of History, will apply modern technology to recreate and honor cultural heritage. Singing performances, Cheo mashups, and folk songs typical of Ninh Binh region will be creatively performed.

The art night gathered more than 400 artists, professional actors, and the public on a stage of nearly 700 square meters, with the participation of many big names: People's Artist Tu Long, People's Artist Thuy Ngan, People's Artist Trong Binh, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, and singers Viet Hoan, Ngoc Anh, Quach Mai Thy, Hong Nhung, Dac Tuyen, Thi Thuong, Le Huy...

In addition, the program also invested in sound and lighting systems, LED screens and modern visual effects, demonstrating the determination to organize a large-scale, magnificent and influential event.

Director Le The Song affirmed: "We want to create an art program that both maintains solemnity and brings appeal to the public.

Stemming from the desire for the temple and homeland, the crew hopes to create an epic space, where traditional art blends with modern techniques to tell the story of Tran Thuong land.

The art night is scheduled to take place on October 9, 2025 (August 18, At Ty year) at the square of the special national relic site of Tran Thuong temple.

Besides the art program, the ceremony part of Tran Thuong temple festival is carried out according to the project approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and is maintained at the same standards as every year.

In particular, this year's festival also adds many community-oriented activities: photo exhibition - documents about Tran Thuong temple, space to display local products...

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Thuong Commune, Le Duc Nhuong, said that Tran Thuong Temple - a place where the Dong A spirit gathers, a sacred religious space associated with the legend of the Tran Dynasty granary, has long been a spiritual meeting place for visitors from near and far.

The festival is not only an occasion to pay tribute to ancestors but also to arouse in the younger generation pride and responsibility to preserve their roots.

Security, fire prevention, medical care and traffic management for the festival have been carefully prepared. In addition, Tran Thuong commune will also coordinate with businesses and philanthropists to complete facilities, accommodation, food and environmental sanitation plans.

From the perspective of a keeper of the heritage fire, the head incense burner of Tran Thuong temple, folk artist Pham Hai Hung shared: "We hope to use the media to spread the value of the temple, so that anyone who comes here can light an incense stick and feel the historical weight of this place.

Tran Thuong Temple Festival 2025 is an opportunity to combine resources, connect the community, and foster identity, so that each person can see themselves in the traditional and future streams.

We organize the festival not only to pay tribute to our ancestors, but also to make the young generation more proud and responsible for preserving the cultural heritage of their roots.
