150 archers from across the country compete at the National Archery Championship

VHO - On the morning of October 4, at the Hong Duc University Sports Complex (Thanh Hoa), more than 150 excellent athletes entered the dramatic competition journey at the 2025 National Archery Championship, a top-notch sporting event that is awaited every year.

The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa in coordination with the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), bringing together archers from 12 provinces, cities and sectors across the country.

Athletes compete in two formats: 1-string and 3-string bow with many attractive events such as all-around (50m x 2, 70m x 2), distance (30m, 50m, 60m, 70m, 90m), mixed doubles, team, as well as individual elimination.

Archers compete in the single-string bow event.

Not only is this year's award highly professional, it also has profound humanitarian significance.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , the Organizing Committee launched a fundraising movement, calling on delegates, team leaders, coaches and athletes to join hands to support people in the area affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi), contributing to sharing difficulties and spreading the spirit of "the rich help the poor".

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the first shots kicked off a series of competition days that promised to be full of drama and surprises.

The organizing committee and the athletes joined hands to donate to support people in flood-affected areas.

The National Archery Championship is an annual playground in the high-performance sports system, a place to test the performance, professional level and recognize achievements for archers nationwide.

At the same time, this is also an important opportunity to select and train outstanding faces, adding strength to the national archery team.

As planned, the tournament will take place until October 10. With the participation of top archers, the 2025 National Archery Championship promises to bring exciting competitions, affirming the growing appeal of archery in Vietnam's sports life.
