Ninh Thuan : Connecting export goods of the South Central region with Korean enterprises

Leaders of import-export enterprises, distribution systems, and enterprises from Korea will meet and connect with enterprises in the South Central region in Ninh Thuan province next week.

A representative of the Ninh Thuan Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that the province will organize a reception for foreign business delegations to Vietnam to trade and purchase goods with localities in the South Central region in Ninh Thuan; including organizing a conference to connect trade and promote exports between businesses in the South Central region and Korean businesses. The event will take place in 4 days from September 22 to 25, 2024.

Accordingly, the event was organized to create conditions and opportunities for businesses in the South Central region to participate in promoting and introducing quality product brands with great export potential to Korean importers at the conference; thereby supporting businesses in finding partners, developing and expanding product consumption markets, and exploiting the potentials and advantages of each locality in a sustainable and effective manner.

The event also contributes to effectively implementing the policy of the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on promoting export activities and consumption of goods to foreign markets.

Specifically, the delegation of foreign businesses and provinces to Ninh Thuan province and the Trade Connection Conference is expected to have up to 130 delegates, of which 80 delegates are expected to be business representatives.

The event will have the participation of leaders of the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA); leaders of import-export enterprises, distribution systems, enterprises from Korea, foreign enterprises (about 20 to 25 delegates); leaders of import-export enterprises, production and business enterprises of the South Central provinces from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa (about 60 to 70 delegates); representatives of business associations, industry associations...

Targeted products and industries include agricultural products (cashews, aloe vera, asparagus, onions, garlic, grapes, apples); salt, bird's nest; seafood; industrial and handicraft products; handicrafts, souvenirs, etc.

According to the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province, the program will have main activities such as the Korean business delegation will work with the Provincial People's Committee, survey at An Khanh Ninh Thuan Construction Joint Stock Company (survey the company's stone quarry), survey at Canh Dong Viet Food Company, Thong Thuan Company Limited, survey Thai An vineyard and combine to visit Vinh Hy tourist area.

In addition, the program also organizes business-to-business (B2B) connections between Korean enterprises and enterprises in the South Central region.
