On the afternoon of August 6, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Thanh Commune, Vo Ba Dat, said: By 3 p.m., most households had repaired the damage themselves, reinforced their roofs to stabilize their lives, and only one household and a gas station were still continuing to repair the damage due to quite severe damage.

Previously, on the night of August 5, a tornado swept through Son Tho village, Son Thanh commune, blowing off the roofs of 15 households and a petrol business, and breaking two power poles on the 472/A20 feeder, causing 542 local households to lose power from the night of August 5 until now.

To overcome this problem, since the night of August 5, Dak Lak Electricity Company has sent forces to inspect, grasp the situation and handle initial tasks to ensure safety for people and equipment.

Since the morning of August 6, the Tay Hoa and Dong Hoa Electricity Management Team has dispatched 30 workers with many equipment and motorbikes to urgently replant new electric poles to replace broken poles, install beams, pull wires, and is expected to turn on electricity again for people to use at about 5:00 p.m. the same day.
