The Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum 2025 with the theme "Linking for mutual development - An Giang 2025" has a total scale of 226 booths displaying and exhibiting typical OCOP products and specialties of An Giang province and other provinces and cities across the country.

Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc delivered a welcome speech.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc emphasized that up to now, An Giang province has 582 OCOP products recognized by 325 entities. The forum has a particularly important meaning, an opportunity for the province to introduce products crystallized from indigenous culture linked through many generations, especially products with the province's strengths in agriculture , aquaculture, forestry, etc.

This year's forum has outstanding activities such as: Conference on connecting trade of OCOP products in the Mekong Delta region; Contest of typical OCOP products in the Mekong Delta region; Space for displaying, introducing and selling OCOP products; Space for displaying typical OCOP products of Vietnam implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ; Display space of An Giang province.

In addition, within the framework of the forum, there is also a workshop on OCOP product development and online livestream sales activities to support entities that need to promote OCOP products on digital platforms.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the forum.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam affirmed that after 4 times of organization, the Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum has created a space for connection, exchange, sharing and cooperation in production, promotion and trade of OCOP products of the region. This year's Forum is of special importance to the provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta, especially in the context of restructuring provincial-level localities and organizing the 2-level local government apparatus.

On that basis, Deputy Minister Tran Thanh Nam requested provinces and cities to strengthen product quality management in association with developing prestigious OCOP product brands domestically and for export, in the direction of environmental friendliness, green and sustainable development. Strengthen control of production processes, ensuring requirements on quality management and food safety according to standards and regulations.

Along with that, it is necessary to pay attention to building OCOP specialty material areas according to production planning and standards.
